I got pelted with leaves while standing at the corner--downtown!

The election is geting messier. Republicans are threatening to monitor the polls to make sure that ineligible voters don't exercise democracy. Not as official poll workers, mind you. Are they just going to stand there looking menacing? Scaring people away seemed to work in Florida last time. Down in the state capital there's some sort of nit-picky fracas over the paper stock of voter registration cards (regardless of the fact that they're not required to vote). Hopefully, things won't get ugly in our rural little corner of the state. Although there was that voter-registration in exchange for crack scandal a few weeks ago... (I'm not making this one up, folks.)
