Actually Happy

Though I don't look it here, I was really pleased with today. The Gran Fondo NJ was a really challenging course. Super hilly. Hardest century I ever rode. Which, of course, means I loved every second of it. Well, not every second...maybe about 90% of them. The ones I didn't love were in the 15% grade sections.

No Fondo

No fun. Fondo postponed for hurricane. Went on short, defiant ride in the pre-drizzle. Then the sun came out for an hour or so. So much for my man vs the forces of nature schtick. Then the heavy rain and wind came and made a mess of things.

Ten Days Away

Gran Fondo is in 10 days. Training has been underway all year. Ibuprofen standing by.
